Dragon Ball x Marvel Cinematic Universe

 Long time no post.

After finishing the Infinity War painting, a big undertaking for me, I needed some time to decide what to work on next. Well, I think I have decided.

The starting idea was "what if MCU events unfolded in Dragon Ball setting?" My immediate answer was Bulma created Iron Man armor. I thought this was appropriate because Bulma was an scientist/inventor. Plus it gave me an excuse to draw an armor with female proportions.

Next, Trunks would be Spider-Man. I liked this idea because Trunks-Bulma character relationship parallels (or at least approximately parallels) Peter Parker-Tony Stark relationship.

These were enough to convince me to map other characters with varying degrees of fit. I wanted to keep the project focused, so I covered only Avengers main characters.

Next, Son Goku would be Captain America. This one was easy.

What about Vegeta? I decided he would be Thor. I thought this choice was appropriate because Vegeta was the alien visitor at the beginning of Dragon Ball Z.
